“Jesus in the Movies’:

Sundays at 2:00 pm, March 1 (part 1) and 15 (part 2)



The Greatest Story Ever Told is a 1965 American all-star, large scale epic film produced and directed by George Stevens.that chronicles the life and ministry of Jesus Christ.

This film will be shown in two parts, March 1 and 15, due to length of film.


Discussion and refreshments to follow.

Free and open to the public.

We are inviting all who are interested to attend.

The Gospel According to Matthew

 by Pier Passollini, the Italian film director who was bludgeoned to death because of his politics.The film, in black and white, tells the story of Jesus with stark simplicity, based on the Gospel of Matthew. Running time: 2 hours 14 minutes, original black and white version.
