You wish you could make some of this stuff up, but unfortunately, you can’t. Pathetic, not funny, as much as we would like to laugh because it’s also dangerous. And, more than anything, we really have to wonder about the mindset of the people who voted for certain members of Congress.
Remember Alex Jones, the Infowars host, who denied that children had been killed at Sandy Hook? He said it was a ploy to take away our guns. Now we have Marjorie Taylor Greene who stalked David Hogg, a Parkland student who survived that massacre by telling him it never happened.
Well, if you think that was bad, elected to Congress, Greene also blamed the California wildfires on secret a secret deal between PS&E and the Rothschilds (read Jewish) by using solar energy collected in space and beamed back to earth to clear land for a high speed rail project. She has also called for the “execution” of certain members of Congress, including Nancy Pelosi. She will be on the House Education Committee.
Prayer for the Day
There are times, O Lord, when we don’t know what to pray for,
Because the world seems so topsy-turvy to us;
We listen to the words of people who create an alternate reality
And we wonder how they got to that place.
Grant us the strength to confront the truly false
And the wisdom to discern truth and justice.
