Andrew Jackson was supposedly to have said in response to the 1832 decision in Worcester v. Georgia, stating that the state had no authority in tribal areas, “John Marshall[he Chief Justice] has made his decision, now let him enforce it.” Though Jackson may not have said those precise words, that attitude is now taken by ICE regarding a number of court decision, including tehe warehouse in Roxbury.
It’s seems pretty clear that ICE is using the warehouse at least as a holding facility in spite of a May12 agreement it would not do so. In case you had forgotten, New Jersey joined an action by the small township because of environmental concerns over the contamination of water from sewage.
Several people have noted ICE vehicles transporting people onto the site and returning empty. It seems obvious that not only does ICE act with impunity regarding its violent behavior but in clear violation of agreements that DHS signed. How can we trust a government that signs an agreement and then simply ignores it?

Here we are, O God, in this Nation,
Supposedly governed by law but hen flouted;
Asking how we can trust agreements signed,
We struggle to understand what has happened to us.
Be with us, O Holy One, as we lose faith in leaders,
Those who say one thing and then do another.
