What is it about us, the human race, that we cannot even listen to the warning signs? Take your pick of two major crises and you will see that many of us act as if the warning signs are for someone else.
NIH Director Francis Collins, M.D., the man who led the human genome project, a leader in DNA research – in other words, no mental slouch – noted that the increasing number of children coming down with Covid is connected to the fact that 90 million adult Americans remain unvaccinated, passing on the pandemic goodies to their children.
Not to be outdone by stupidity on vaccinations, there are still Members of Congress against earth-friendly technologies. Catering to the fear of certain industries, not to mention their own fear of losing financial support from the bosses, not the workers, these so-called leaders cannot see past the noses on their own faces.

Teach us to listen to the voices of reason, O God
And change our ways so we live more fully
